Zacuto base plate and Chrosziel?

I have the Zacuto base plate and a Chrosziel Matte box.
Is anyone using this combo? If so- how?
There seems to be no way to attach the Matte box bracket to the rods.
Thanks

Hey bokes,

That doesn't add up I have the Zacuto base plate and a chrosziel matte box. If you are having issues it maybe because your are missing pieces or maybe your matte box is set for 19mm and not 15mm rods.

Post some pics of your stuff and it may shed some light on what the problem might be. Also please post the model number of the matte box and and other pieces of the system. I'd like to help.

Thanks 5ive

The model is the 440-03.
I am not sure how I would change the "set-up".

Bokes you need to have the:
S1001-CB-01
center bracket to mount
sunshade on light weight
support, order separately

If you don't have this part then your sunshade must be clipped onto the lens. but due to the lack of a large enough front flange, you may not be able to clip the sun shade onto the HVX.

I have the standard bracket.

The S1001-CB-01 looks like an attachment.
And it looks like it lowers the center bracket.
I need to raise the bracket.
Will the S1001-CB-01 raise the bracket?
Because right now the bracket hangs to low.

I am able to clip the matte box to the 104 to 82 step ring. It seems O.K. not much stress on the lens- but I worry and would prefer to get this bracket on the rods.

Can you guys post a photo of how you have the matte attached?

Thanks much

Bokes,

Have you adjusted the Zacuto plate? The rod assembly lowers and has a side to side travel.
