I recently upgraded to the full FCP 5.1 production suite. I noticed in the new version of Compressor (4) there is a preset to output "H.264 for DVD Studio Pro".
I decide to give this a go and selected 480p from the video format drop down menu in the Inspector window. However I am unable to change the frame rate from 59.94 and their appears to be no 23.97 option. So what is the benefits of this codec? Can it be used for 480/24pa footage? Or should I stick with the always trust worthy 90 min High quality encode? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
