The film The Last Kiss (w/ zach braff) opened in theaters today. I just saw it.
I really feel it is a level or two higher then most screenplays out there.

its very honest and real. the acting was great as well. there was nudity in it
which kinda took me out of the story for a sec. I feel that sex scene can do that
very easily.

Overall I would say its a film worth seeing for sure. I would love to hear more
opinions on it.

check it out

I'm pretty sure he didn't direct it...

But I've always liked Zach Braff... will probably check this one out on DVD though.

It would make sense that the screenplay is pretty good considering the guy who wrote it has also written the last two films that won best picture at the academy awards.

'Zach Braff has said that he worked on the script and that he "tweaked the dialog a little bit".'

As well, this is a remake of a solid film in the first place. It better be good.

Don't even get me started on Paul Haggis.

Couldn't agree more. The Last Kiss was nothing special. Paul Haggis aggrivates me. I'm sick of writers that treat structure like the enemy. Crash is a travesty, shoving more political/racial bullsh*t down your throat at every second it can--anyone notice how NOBODY ever talks about anything other than white and black and homeboys and arabs? It's ridiculous. Oh, and don't get me going on Million Dollar Baby either. Eastwood = good actor, but should perhaps stop with the directing at that.
