So I got lucky and got my hands on a crab dolly, and 21 feet of dolly track; but the thing is, I dont have is something to combine the two, like the MSE Centipede below:

So, I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for making something like this... I'm not sure if skateboard wheels would work because the dolly is so darn heavy... I have some friends that do a lot of fab work, so I was thinking of having them make me the metal sections, but I'm having trouble finding some wheels/bearings that would work in this heavy duty application. Any help is greaty appreciated!!!

Thanks for the link, but the rowe cine cinedolly wheel set wont work for this application (need the flexibility of working on a curved track.) I do have some friends that could fabricate me the metal sections, but I was really just wondering if the skateboard wheels could handle the weight load of a HEAVY crab dolly (the second pic). Not sure if Matthews just uses regular skateboard wheels and bearings or....

Well, some skateboarders weigh in excess of 200 pounds. So, figure 4 wheels can hold that...how much can 32 hold?

You're probably right... I think I'll just print out a pic of the setup and head down to my local skate shop and see what they say...
