how do i unlock my p2 footage

Why are my p2 files all locked, it's giving me hell when i want to delete p2 cards and trash, is there an easier way around this?

The cards themselves or the P2 Folders that you put on your hardrive ?

Are you in the middle of using the files in your NLE or are done with them completely ?

If you're on a mac, hold down the option key when you delete.

when im done, even when i try deleteing files i dont want anymore i have to go into the trash and unlock them before i can delete them

Is this a safety issue I wonder ?

well its not killing me but i'm sure there has to be some type of setting where i can unlock all the footage without going through every file in the contents folder and unlocking them before i can delete them.
