Law & Order (new season)

just got done watching the season premiere of the original Law & Order. it was great. Ed Green got a new partner cause Fontana retired (dennis farina left the show) and she's the first woman detective on the original show. she sorta fell into the laps of the 27th precinct, and really has to earn her new job. right now i dont really like her, but i think she'll make for a great storyline when they get there. there's also a new ADA, Connie Rubirosa, who replaces Alexandra Borgia who was killed in the season finale last year. i gotta say, YOWZA!! :love4: :love4:   Alana De La Garza (the new ADA) freakin' hot and talented! great addition to the show, and i hope she stays longer than the last ADA. this episode was great as usual (the original is my favorite followed by CI, i got to meet Vincent D'Onofrio and he was really cool, and introduced my dad and i to his wife and talked to us for about 10 minutes.) they touched upon Jack McCoy's past with his daughter a bit tonight. if you don't watch the show i suggest you give it a try, i'm sure you'll love it. anyone else watch tonight?

It starts in 7 minutes here on the west coast. But the Dodgers are barely holding onto to a 2-0 lead so I'm not sure if I'll catch the beginning of it or not...

I don't Know it kid of lost my interest and I found my self channel surffing. So I don't know It dosen't seem like it lost anything I just think that after so many years of watching it I'm just up for something new.

i was in the chat with Dick Wolf after the show, and he said there's going to be a few shows in the coming weeks where people might think they know what it's about but really they dont (one he mentioned was someone going on an anti semitic rampage... no, i have no idea about that storyline). last night it was blatantly obvious who the "celebrity couple" was. other than that though i thought it was a great episeode, and even if the show starts going down hill, i'm going to keep watching for the new cast members :)

i didnt like the new detective that much, but supposedly we're going to be seeing a lot of her this season, off duty, her back story... i'd personally like to see the new ADA's backstory more, she's so much hotter, and better on the show. the hottest of the ADA's that have ever been on the show

Heck, yeah . . . she (Garza) was in CSI: Miami all last season and it was the only reason I ever watched the show.

Law & Order Rocks!

hells ya. i didnt like the first 3 seasons, but once Jerry Orbach joined the cast it was so much better IMO. Orback and Noth made great partners, and they haven't really had as great of partners since those two... none of the other partners had the same chemistry
