Saw this HVX and Hat on MTV's NEXT Where Can I buy?

[SurJones]

So attached is 2 imaages of this hat. I have been wanting one of these (cheap) to get low shots, and to raise when I need to...

I would like to know where I can get one? Also I am assumining this would be a High Hat being it looke about 8inches, and I have heard someone call a hats at 6 inches low hat.

It is also nice seing MTV sporting props to Panny HD But I wonder what they shoot the show in...

[THoff]

Yeah, I also want one of those. Um, are we talking about the same thing?

[SurJones]

anyone?

That's not a hi-hat. That's just a riser and a 100mm bowl adapter (100A) on a JL Fisher dolly.

AFAIK, a hi-hat is just a hi-hat. There is no low-hat. They're all about 6" tall and they have an integral half bowl.

Well great to know, Where can I get a cheap risser? Also I want a High hat as well, So I can do right off the ground shots. I want a cheaper one.Heck if I can do the shots with a riser that would rock.... http://www.jlfisher.com/dollies/optional_accessories/dolly_accessory.asp?Model=ALL&Accessory=HH

Hi-hats you can buy:

I don't think you can buy Fisher accessories. They go out for rent along with the dollies.

SWEET! thanks, I dont know why I did not think to check BH.

I have decided on this one. Does anyone have a picture with the HVX on an High Hat, or and also maybe a couple frame grabs.....
