We want your best footage

My next film “schism” takes place almost entirely in a nursing home/assisted living facility, and there are going to be TV’s everywhere: in the resident’s rooms, the activities center, etc.

I need something on these TVs, but obviously I can’t just use regular TV shows for legal reasons, so I thought why not showcase some footage from other DVXUser’s works? So you’re not only helping me out but your footage is being seen by more people. You’ll be listed in the closing credits and receive a copy of “schism” on DVD.

So here’s the deal…

Sometime in the next three weeks (9/8/06-9/29/06) paste links in this thread to your DVX/HVX footage that you would like to be considered for use in the film. It can be a short, feature, fake commercial, grass growing time-lapse, full screen, wide screen, whatever. Then during the week of October 9th I’ll post my 5 favorites and we’ll go from there.

Hey John, I can't recall the site, but I've got a friend that purchased license for the I LOVE LUCY SHOW. It wasn't too cheap ($250), but it added a TON of production value & credibility to the short film by having that old black & white show running on the TV.

I think having our footage on their is cool, but if you can afford a few extra bucks you may want to at least have a known TV show or something on one or two of the TV's.

Now, I'm sure they meant "turnkey" as in "move in without having to do anything", but the first thing that popped into my head was "turnkey" = "jailer".
