Here is a timelapse shot in 720pn 2 frames per second. Syncro Scan at 250 degrees.

TAKE NOTE:

This was encoded using the default iPod compression in the brand new Quicktime 7.1.3. It used to export to 320 x 240 but since Apple upgraded the iPod specs, all iPod videos are now encoded at 640 x 480 which is pretty awesome because this compression is really nice!

Make sure you bring someone with you, no where to stop up there, theres a turn off to a closed Coast Guard drive way about 100 yards down the road heading toward the Yurba Beuna side away from the Naval base. You can stop there to run your gear up and setup, but the cops patrol and will make sure you move it very quickly.
 
Cynic... Looks really really nice. Nice compression and low noise... Did you do that with the 2frame hack?


So what ya think of the A's and Giants chances this year? My beloved Red Sox are in the crapper... Just have to hope someone beats up on the much hated Yankees... spit, cough, cough.
 
I liked it, but it was a bit long, it needed more variety.

I was hoping that maybe there would be a change in the light -- a timelapse with the sun setting and the lights on the vehicles crossing the bridge coming on, or the sun coming up and the lights turning off would have been sweet.

I hope the giants lose, im not a giants fan, Dodger fan for the NL.

The A's need to start winning or they wont be in the playoffs either. As far as boston is concerned? All the sports teams there , including the Pats, could be swallowed by the bowels of hell and nothing would make me happier than that. The worst most front runningest fans, along with all of a sudden highest ticket prices...its a trendy sports city with fair weather fans.

Bummer man. I wanted to check it out. I love SFO and my wife being a Cali girl, we try to get back whenever we can.

Boston fans are die-hard true fans.. Best fans you'd ever want to tangle with. If there were to be altercations with SF and Bay area fans.. that would be a true blood bath, but atleast afterwards there would be moca latte's and plenty of time to run and catch something on bravo..... True fans live in boston.. and with the A's.. seems like they trade all there good players away and choke in the post season....



GO pats... Go SOX.. kind of cold on the celtics now.. an don't care about hockey too much.

Don't mean to sidebust here, but I just have to ask you Justyn, are you a Marlins fan? I see you're from Florida. Two World Championships in 14 years of existence, that's a true winner to get behing right there, and they need fans judging from the empty seats I see in that stadium. Just asking because it seems like non-Bostonians rep the Red Sox because it's cool and that is irritating.

It could have been extremly streaky if we upped the Synchro Scan to its max, we used it at only 250 degrees. Could have been 350 degrees. In hindsight, i wish we would have done it a little brighter. :p oh well.

Coo!, bring a book , or a DS, or a PSP, or a paddle with a ball and a string attatched to it if you want more than 10 seconds of footage. :)
