Vs-16tc-dvx, 1.6x Tele Converter F/panasonic

Hi,

New user of this Forum from downunder in New Zealand. Have done a number of searches here but can't find an answer to this one.

Can someone confirm that the Century VS-16TC-DVX 1.6 Telephoto lens will fit on the DVX102b Camera. All the sites I can find, only list that it fits the 100, 100a & 100b. Local NZ Agent for Century Optics (they don't stock it) suggested that it screwed onto the lens?? - my understanding is it replaces the sun shield with the same bayonet sort of connection.
Before I buy and import it all the way down here over the internet I thought I would double check that it is compatible with my 102b

Yes it will. 102 is a model number for down under, but it's exactly the same product as the European model. And no it doesn't screw on, it bayonets on in the same way that the sunshade does.
 
Thanks Barry for confirming what I had thought was the case but was getting conflicting info down here.

I'm definitely just a Consumer user but got frustrated with some of my DVD end results sometimes. After hours of editing, the video raw footage from my consumer Panny was disappointing and let me down sometimes. Enjoy the editing and wanted to get a better end result so I upgraded to the DVX recently.
Have your book - it arrived yesterday, and following this forum closely so we are on a somewhat steep learning curve - appreciate it isn't just "point and shoot" but even on Auto, the results already are worth it
