What H*LL was that shot on?!?!?!?!?

[bustak]

Hello everyone!

Does anyone know of a website that tells what camera was used in a production? For example, I'm watching the documentary "Unknown White Male," & I'm wondering "What H*LL was that shot on?!?!?!?!?"

Any info would be nice, I'd like to go to a site & type in a movie title & BAM!!! It tells what format, camera, & etc..

Hey Mac,

Nice & quick find! I was using "Unknown White Male" as an example, IMDB doesn't always have this info, I was wondering if there was a site specifically set-up for filmmakers & enthusiasts alike.

Thanx again!

Unfortunately, I don't know of any other site that has that information. Luckily though IMDB does a pretty good job of having that sort of stuff. Though as you said, there are times when it just has little to information on the movie.

yeah, IMDb will often have it, and when they don't some web searching for a few minute will usually turn something up. Find out the DP's name and start from there.
