Seagate 750 SATA3GB/s for $299.

Wow didn't know they have 750 gig drives...

When I moved about two years ago... I found an old bid for a Media 100 editor...

I think a 9 gig drive was like $5k...
An extra 64meg (can't remember if that's the right term) was about the same...

I think the bid was like less than 8 years old at the time...

Got my dual G5.... FCP... etc.. for $5k....

They have this sale at Frys as well sometimes.

I am waiting a few years before i invest in the new perpendicular writing method thing, the up and down writing instead of horizontal, i want to see how often these style drives die. But ya, thats a killer deal and can only be brought to you by Frys/Outpost

FRYS PWNS!~

Thanks! I've been looking at that drive for a while waiting for the price to drop. This is the cheapest I've seen it, so I finally bought a couple.

But the price as of this AM (9/8) was $335 on zipzoomfly.com. I always find either zipzoomfly or newegg.com the cheapest for raw drives.
