NYC 35mm Adapter Shootout - Call for Adapters

[deedive]

wondering the same thing. From personal experience the brevis and M2 are winners. Don't know about others. There may be other winner also I'm thinking you will just have to pick the adapter for your personal style.

[HybridCreations]

Whenever we get this put together, there will be no winner chosen. This is merely a chance to put a bunch of adapters in a room and have people look at them and see how they work in person. I think there's plenty of research and testimonials on this site that should help you choose the adapter that's right for you, koala. If you're in the NYC area, we'd love to have you come down and join us, whenever it is.

that's smart -- like the HD cam shootout -- different strokes for different folks.... WHAT YOU TALKIN' ABOUT WILLIS? Oh... never mind.

[deadhead]

Any update? Myself and my friend a high end DP who own an HVX together would like to come down. We're seeing a demo of the Moovietube also.

[steve2bees]

Hey, any update on the shootout. Ship date for my new Brevis for HVX will be here soon. Excited to see adapters compared.

[TimurCivan]

if its late enough i can represent SGpro-reV2 HD. Getting my unit updated in a month or so.

[steve2bees]

Yeah, would be cool to see that in action.

[MalcolmOng]

Its like a urban myth.....

[steve2bees]

[TimurCivan]

haha! damn cineporter

[rbilsbor]

In NYC, have DVX (A)... when is this going down, and is it actually going down?

[deedive]

i think its being held the same day the new g35 starts shipping.

[TimurCivan]

yea that G35.... what a great.... oh hey it disappeared....

[monolith]

Soooooooo...did we manage to organise ourselves? Or have we lost hope?

I'm short a new years eve party at the moment, if anybody out there wants to up the geek factor. I'll take an HVX with a Movietube over a tipsy blond any day of the week (night times are different, o' course).

[Jay Rodriguez]

i think this thing died out

I'm still here, with an adapter to test. Anyone in NYC have an HDV cam or the HVX?
