but how do you know if your framing it properly? Do you have some kind of screen you can watch on the ground?

but either way..thats such a cool idea. madd props to you two.
 
a total danger to everyone and everything in it's path!! I would NEVER EVER put an HVX on that rig...LOL I have crash so many times..LOL really really hard to fly that thing...footage is really cool though! birds eye view, used it for a sales DVD for a school one time..results kicked some video butt!

it has a transmitter on the ground you can watch a tv for control of your shot
 
Lets hook up a VariCam to it, and fly it into a hurricane, and see what it really looks like in there. It would be cool.

I've personally seen too many hurricane insides first hand. Down here in southeast LA we don't need any more images of hurricanes. Bettsy, Camille, Andrew, etc, etc, Katrina, Rita, we've had enough of the hurricanes. I can send you photos if you're really desperate. But, it just looks like the worst thunderstorm you've ever seen, with a lot of life threatening wind and flooding. Imagine the wind pulling a 100 year old Oak totally out of the ground and leaving it a block away. Or, miles of empty slabs where people's homes used to be, that's what it looks like on the "inside". Do you REALLY need those photos?

Anyway, I want one of those! That's totaly awesome! A wireless remote monitor would rock, too!
