I was afraid for a while there. Andre looked tight, tentative .... :nads:
 
That was an amazing match. Can't even believe that Agassi came back after being down 0-4 in the third set. Andre is a true champion, and it is good to see him being so competitive at this final stage of his career.
 
He looked like he was going to cry on the last point. What a feeling it must be to have all those people pulling for you.

Same here. I had to step out for a few minutes after the second set, and when I came back, he was down 0-4. I couldn't believe it. I thought he was giving up. But I know he is a warrior, so I wasn't surprised to see him come back.
 
Wish the weather were clear so I could buy my tickets to his second round match with confidence, but with this rain it could be Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and I don't really want to shell out money for all 3 night sessons.
 
Off course I am all for Jarkko Nieminen...

After all I have rallied with him for a few minutes when he was starting his pro carrier. After a photo session, that was. And he thought I was a class B tournament player...

Really a nice guy.

Agassi is great, though. Has kept playing because he likes it and because it is his profession. I keep photographing even though I am past my prime, but I have no choise... 11 years to retirement...

Stressful match against the youngster from Cyprus. Crazy. Great tennis in spite of Marcos 80 some odd Unforced Errors
 
Man...that had to be one of the greatest games I've ever watched. What a battle. Just when you thought it was going to be over, the other player would come back. An amazing, amazing night of tennis!

Very good game. I can't belive he pulled it off. I really thought he was out of it.
You can't help but want him to win. But he is having trouble with his back and he was really slowing down tword the end on this game.

just a guess, but it looks like a nike/agassi circa 1988? the "faded" bottom and blocks reminds me of that.

How the heck did Agasee do it again. Down way down Two sets and then comes back to tie and then kick but in the final set. And I tell you that final set was just crazy.He could win it, and I think he is starting to realize it. You have the whole 23,000 people crowed behind you and I think if he can just stay leven headed an just keep playing amazing tenis he could do it. At least make the chanpion chip game.
