DVX Photography Challenge- ROUND 2- RIGHT NOW

Anyone have that annoying website popping up in a new window whenever you click on a photo? What is that?

The one with the dog in the lake and the swimmer splashing are my favorites - both could probably use a bit more cropping but still captured good moments .

I will look into it tomorrow... My firefox blocks it as well, so I never noticed that it happens.

Also, just to pimp next weeks challenge, if we get 50 entries then I will make a $50 donation to Isara.com, but if we get 250 entries then I will make a $250 donation (which is the total cost of an associates degree in Thailand).

It doesn't matter what you shoot on, just light, block, shoot, and submit.

I don't think we've had a single person who has participated who hasn't enjoyed it, and next week's theme is 'Addiction' and every member of this community knows about that :)

Real quick, just to be sure everyone understands:

You do not need to have entered a photography into the contest in order to vote or comment on the images. In fact, the most important part of these challenges is the commenting because your constructive feedback is what allows the artist to improve their compositional, lighting, and blocking skills for future projects.

I understand that it is a pain in the ass to comment on 30 images, but it honestly takes just a few minutes and you are giving someone who invested time into creating something feedback on how the image makes you feel and what they might do to improve in the future.

I ask that when you submit feedback, and please submit feedback, but when you do, please make it constructive. Something along the lines of 'this sucks' really doesn't help anyone.

Once again, please submit comments because that is what allows people to improve in on future projects. Thanks!
