the science of sleep

This should go into Film Discussion where there's already a thread for it.

And I'm going to mirror what I said there:

Here's to hoping it doesn't turn out like a music video.

Gael Garcia Bernal is the best latino actor there is right now with a reputation for choosing only the most outstanding of roles. I've seen everything he's ever been in & lately it seems he's in everything (spanish speaking of course), so I can't wait to see him in an english speaking part that, hopefully, exposes his flawless acting ability in any language.
Mark my words, Gael will win the oscar some day, he's just that good where even the politics behind hollywood wont be able to crush this rising star.

Damn TC, that thing is a little scary seriously... especially when I AM a noob and I feel like he's pointing right at me and looking at me personally...

The more I see this trailer (I've watched it several times now), the more I can not wait for it to be released. This film looks inventive and creative, something that seems lacking in movies more and more. I have high hopes for it.

Ditto.

I just watched this film yesterday and honestly I don't know what to make of it. I liked certain aspects of it that were whimsical and funny but with 30 minutes into the movie it became clear that the main character is mentally ill and needs serious help. After that I just couldn't see how what he does could come across as charming or whatever they tried to do.

I love Sunshine of the Spotless mind but this one just didn't work for me. Benny and Joon had a similar type of love story, but were that one worked this one came off as creepy.
