Where to buy adapter lenses?

Hey,

I was wondering if there was anyplace to buy lenses for a 35 adapter. The most popular mounts seem to be Nikon AI and Canon FD but I'm having trouble finding the actual lenses for these mounts.

I'm looking at an adapter but just wanted to know where to go once I buy it for more lenses.

Thanks,

I've found some tasty deals on eBay.

Search for entire SLR camera packages. Sometimes people just "clean out the closet" and sell everything in that dusty old camera bag, all in one auction. You may pick up a grab bag of nice lenses for cheap.

I bought my lens on Ebay... just be real careful and contact the seller direct and ask detailed questions about things.

KEH.com is a great used camera shop. I bought all my lenses there. Perhaps I am being dumb and telling others..... ah well I have the majority of my lenses.

Wow. that is a nice place. I don't have much in the way of used camera shops in town. It's the one really annoying thing about living in the middle Alaska. I'm forced to go online.

All the used camera shops here in the bay area are CLOSED forever. I spent a day driving around to each one since the phone numbers were no good, and they were all out of business.

I never have any problems with ebay, we got all 4 of our Nikon Primes from ebay, all shipped very quickly and saved a ton.

Final Design: A great site that Sam Edwards showed me was KEH.com they sell new and used and prices vary depending on quality, but its a great way to check out a lens for cheap. Say you are worried the lens wont give the look you want, well you can buy one that is rated "UG" for ugly, and it will be like 40 bucks for it, you can test it out to see if you like it before you drop the 500-800 bucks on it

anytime. Im still learning as well, but have learned alot about lenses in the last few weeks since getting the M2 about a month ago. Youve got alot of great looking stuff to shoot up there too in Alaska, may be boring as hell up there, but a great setting to shoot stuff.
