Dumbest thing I've seen on TV ever.

So i live in Singapore, and so far my opinion on Singaporean cinematography is quite bad. Today while on the TV on the bus thing(TV mobile for those who'll know what i'm talking about) i saw something i didnt even know was HUMANLY POSSIBLE. There was a Chinese news broadcast programme playing, and somehow. Somehow. SOOOMEHOW, they managed to overexposed the studio shoot. While watching it alarms were ringing in my head going 'jesus christ how did they do that?!'

In japan they love high exposure. To me it looks crap. Often I see studio shows where the exposure is just too high.

yea i know what you mean, but yeat studio lighting for news thats a little much... either that or their system isnt calibrated.

People can make accidents. I do some broadcasting, and for people with little experience, its easy to make mistakes like that.

Dumbest thing on tv ever...

I thought you were going to say "America's Got Talent".

Then talk about how some dude's talent was that he had balls of steel and let a guy smash a concrete block with a mallet against his nuts, then let two guys hoist wooden blanks between his legs until they snapped.

ROFL. I hated that show! The judges would change their minds and act like children, and all the good talent didnt win.

Aside, I dont think broadcast cameras have auto.

don't know if it is the dumbest, one that irritates me is MSNBC "Documentaries" of prison show after prison show seems exploitative and cheap to produce, not edgy and informative.
also stoner phillips kind of gives me the creeps.
