How to do a stop motion effect with the lead actor moving ?

XMEN and the budget would be going 3D, I'm 99.9% certain. They had some major talent on that one.

.1% has bit you in the ass, then. Watch the scene. You can see the actors move. It's very slight, not really bothersome, but there it is. They used other techniques for some shots or for foreground talent, but a good deal of it is in-camera.

Doug, what are you talking about? Didn't bite me in the ass ... if you look at what I said earlier on, I specifically gave XMEN as the example of when the talent was just standing still, because of that scene.

The member later asked if they used 3D or 2D for the Danger Room scene, and I'm betting on nearly all 3D, because of the money & CG folks they had on board.

LOL...No ass biting please.

But if .1% can really bite someones ass that would be one hell of a special effect. Anyway i think you misunderstood,, Envision already said the xmen freeze scene had movement. I think you skipped a post between where i asked about the traning room scene where the cars etc turn into wireframe. Envision was answering to that post by refering to graphics applications being used.
LOL.
Just .1% error.

Sorry, I did misunderstand. I didn't see the Danger Room post. Stupid internet! And stupid me... carry on then!
