Uproar from the Latino community. I can see their argument to a degree, but I never found the cartoons to be degrading. It was a mouse for crying out loud. But political correctnees has this planet on it's ear. People seem to go out of their way to be offended.

Personally, I cant think of a nationality that hasn't been "degraded" by cartoons to some degree. Each and every one has at times.

Shame too, because Warner Brothers cartoons had the most incredible characters. Mel Blanc was a genius. I once read he had over 500 characters he did, any immediatly ready for use at a moments notice. The man had talent.

That's neither Sexual, Religious, or Political (in the political red vs blue sense), rather, it's a very real and sweeping ideology. Some agree, some dont. I don't see what I wrote that would cause a thread to close.

I agree. It's actually less encompassing for everyone to be corrected when they say policeman instead of police officer.
