List of ten 35 mm adapters

When is the adapter showdown going DOWN? I've waited this long another month would be cool to see them all in action. I'm also hoping its more real life shootins.. some still-life/portrait stuff with some rack focusing all happen'. NOt just charts and graycards and that.

The HVX and DVX100B have a small plastic pin that activates the flip when the LCD is rotated toward the front of the cam. The plastic laughs at the magnet and does nothing. I used the HVX trick (in the link below) on my 100B many months ago and have been using it ever since. You have to open up a small part of the camera though :eek: but I felt better about doing that than using the magnet anyway. I have yet to hear of any damage from either method, but obviously there is always a risk in doing this type of thing.

I talked with Steve Weiss at Zacuto last week and I will be purchasing a whole package from them in the next month. Steve mentioned that they are working on a 35 mm adaptor. Judging from the outstanding quality of their other products I'm sure this will be awsome. I don't think it will be cheap however.

No date so far and I think many people are interested in a comparison between the available adapters. So NYC, get together!
