Title for movie, what do you think?

Hi I'm debating between different names to use for my feature film debut. It's for a coming of age feature about one character, a girl. THe title would be ALICE'S RENAISSANCE. If you were going to watch a movie at the theater and you read this title on a poster , what would you think the movie is about?

Tell me why I shouldn't use this title or tell me if it doesn't make any sense. THe reason I like it is because sounds different and could mean many things specially for a coming of age film.

thanks

Alice's Rebirth. Which is physically impossible.

No, in all seriousness, it sounds good. I dont see why it wouldnt be good.

Chick Flick (not that there's anything wrong with that :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG) )

If you're thinking of changing the girls name, here's one...

Becoming Amanda

Wow! tht IMDB search killed me, looks like there are many movies with tha name. I thought about keeping it simple, what about JUST ALICE. Alice is not really her name, she just uses it as an Alias or nick name, she doesn't want to use her real name because reminds her of her past and I can't say more....sorry.

thanks.

How about "Call Me Alice"

(Note: I originally only had the text "Call me Alice" for my post, but I knew if I left it that way some wise-acre would call me Alice :) )

JUST ALICE isn't a bad title, but why insist on Alice? Is there some import to that name or is that just the one you gave her?

How about "Growing up Alice" I think it works because it implies that she is growing up using the name Alice to get away from whatever happened.

HEY!! Don't come in here with your good ideas. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Actually, that sounds pretty darned good

How about "Ask Alice"...I don't know why, but it just popped in my head so I thought I'd offer it up. And I have to agree with Blaine, "Growing Up Alice" is pretty cool.
