But seriously, it's a very cool short. And I did not realize the Halo connection...hmmmm....I'm inclined now to think that he can handle it.

I think someone here at DVX could make something just as good. if not better. I'm not saying the guy doesn't have talent, because he does. That was pretty orginal, docu style take on aliens. Instead of like "INDEPENDENCE DAY". I don't know what he's going to do with a giant film like Halo. It's one thing to hold attention for 6 minutes but can he do it for 2 hours?

It works in Firefox and IE. It's just a Quicktime file. So right click and save as. It's about 77mb.
 
I get to look at the big "Q" forever and even when I right click and save as I got 25kb in a three minute time slot...Way to go PK, now the whole world is trying to download this movie! :)
 
LOL :) Hopefully Halo won't be as difficult to download. ...uh ...uh ...I mean, ...to go see at the theater ...and pay full price. :)
 
I didn't really like it actually...probably just me, but i'm not really in to the documentary style. I do recognise the talent that went into making this, but if halo the movie's gonna look like this...
 
If you like that you should see his earlier work like Tetra Vaal (2003). Nice gritty South African scenery and a 3d robot blended well into the scene.
 
I like this little film (it's been out there for quite a while now) - a really unique perspective on a worn genre. But man, I've never seen a fight scene quite as boring as the one in the middle there!
 
I just watched his other shorts. They are all pretty much the same. Got boring watching cool cgi robots walk around in africa 10 times.
