ok lucas and spielburg do these movies but I think lucas wanted to have more fun by putting star wars characters in. Ok harisson is great and will stick with it but just looked at the cast and now Natalie Portman. She's rumored but she will more than likley be in it. What is she? harisson's next girlfriend?
 
Indy IV does still have the Spielberg factor. I'm holding on to the last bit of my childhood and hoping that it too is not taken away from me.
 
Portman i think is supposed to be playing Indy's daughter... i heard the original plan was to make this the last "Indy" movie then do movies based on his son.. i doubt Indy 4 will really ever get made. i'm a portman fan and all but i don't want her in Indy 4
 
Where did this rumor come from?

I haven't read anything about it online. Or anything about Indy's daughter for that matter.

No wonder i missed this i was on vacation that week.

Well i for one am not happy if this is true. Giving indy a daughter is like saddling james bond with an ankle biter.

Oh, WAIT!!! I've got it...

Catherine Tramell has written a new book. It's about how an archaeologist gets mixed up with a murder investigation and is killed by an aging seductress...

He has to solve his own murder before it happens, using clues he's seen on the television show, "Treasure Hunters."

Not sure where the daughter thing comes in, unless his daughter sees through Catherine Tramell and her wiles and ends up killing her to save her father. Of course, since it was all just a book, the daughter is convicted of murder and sent away to the "big house." :evil:
 
I'm completely petrified that that the Indy epic will be brought down as a series with IV (ala Godfather with III.) As it stands now, the trilogy is perfect...why risk it I say.

but since she has shown me no range at all.

As a matter of fact, she has a total of only two or three poo pooing expressions in her entire acting arsenal...

albeit she has done a couple of bad movies Anywhere But Here and Where the Heart Is she was great in Closer and V For Vendetta. Leon was great and she was good in Beautiful Girls as well. Even her few scenes in Heat were pretty good. Personally I don't notice this range problem you mention. all the films i named i thought she was great in and showed range in her acting ability.

again i don't want her in Indy 4 cause A) there shouldn't be an Indy 4 and B) if there is one it should be about his son not his daughter.
