Is there an adapter that will allow me to put a light with a junior pin on a c-stand with a baby pin? Is this safe? When I gripped the productions usually had different stands to accomodate bigger lights. So I don't know if these type of kludges are possible.
Matthews makes a Jr. Baby adapter that will do that. I've never used it personally. I'd be on the cautious side. It depends on what size light it is. It's probably cheaper and safer to rent a Combo stand.
