Uv Filters

I currently have a cheap tiffen uv filter which has horrible reflections. From searching these forums, i've gathered that the best way to avoid these reflections is to buy a multi-coated filter. So i had a look around b&w online and have narrowed it down to 3 options

Hoya: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=94133&is=REG&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation
B+W: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=11993&is=REG&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation
Heliopan: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=232472&is=REG&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation

I don't really know the difference between these, from searching this site it appears that most people recommend B+W however i can't afford the top B+W, only the model listed above, and the others above both appear to be multi-coated.

If anyone could help me decide which one, it would be much appreciated.
thanks.

i have a polarizer on order and that is supposed to reduce the reflections but do i need a b-w 122mm multi-coated uv filter in frnont of it?

From what I've been told, use one filter at a time.

Buy b+w uv haze 010 (MRC) multi-resistant coating glass filter at B&H photo video.

just one more filter question

just one more filter question

Today I was looking at info on the filters as well but came to the realization that i am very filter "slow", i suppose is the word. This filter that you recommend, is it screwed on the camera lens or do i need a matte box to hold the filter.

(just trying to make sense of what all I need to purchase together with the dvx100b )

thanx everyone

You screw the filter onto the lens of the camera. If you take off the Leica hood,
you can see the threads on the lens better. Be careful not to SMUDGE the filter
with your fingerprints when you put it on - ha ha, don't ask how I know this.
