Slick! Are you just using step-up rings to put the matte box on the SLR lens?

Fox

Yes--

He will ship both with the mattebox if he knows you're using it with a lens adapter. And at no additional charge.

It's surprisingly lightweight. But just in case, I also have a heavy duty tripod set up currently supporting a Camcrane 2000.

Thanks everyone--

I'll get some footage together this week. I really like the DOF/look of the sgpro.

Kyle

Thanks. I'm very excited. I'm shooting a 12 minute short next week.

The DOF is great with the sgpro--I went crazy and bought several Nikon SLRs but so far my two favorites are the 85mm & 200mm. The superwide fisheye is fun, too.

I'll post some footy on the forum soon.

how do you like the mattebox with that setup?

i think the matte box options for me are the hyson films, redrock, or the indie snap.. Looks like a great setup!

i'd be interested to know how the follow focus will treat you. I've just started messing with it, and i'm not impressed with the looseness of the setup.

Wow!

I wish my film set looked that pro! For me it's put the dvx on the tripod. No lenses, mattboxes, monitors, followfocuses for me!

-Maybe oneday!

Wondering if you got the improved FF or the eariler version?
