That is, he will be leaving the hospital and rejoining the real world on Thursday! I'm sure he'll be posting like a mad man in between his physical therapy sessions.
 
heh you just wait.. In the past when the man has 100 projects and 30 bazillion things to do he touched base with us at least twice a day... I wouldnt be surprised if now he has nothing to do except lay in bed with a laptop we wont here from him for 6 months :)

OK. Im home finally. Still cant feel my upper legs but can walk a little better. The car ride home was super painfull so i had to take pain killers when i got home. Now im back in that fog again :)
It seems that i will be under home rehab for a while. The nurse comes tomorrow and the Physical Therapist comes monday. They think i may be on crutches for about 3 months or so. Thats going to suck. I have a ton of precautions that i have to follow also. I cant even sit on a regular toilet bowl.
I have this booster seat. I have to make sure I dont bend my hips greater than 90 degrees. I cant sit on any regular sized seat so i had to rent a hi-chair.
I tell you, I have never experienced the pain I had when they tried to move me for the first time. They grabbed this peice of clothe thing that was under me and slid me to the end of the bed and I screamed louder than anything I have ever heard. Thats going to be my horrorfest entry, a lonely guy laying in bed with bi-lateral hips and 4 nurses sneaking up on him to move him to the edge of the bed. ;P
I can only sit up for about an hour before my back starts killing me and have to lay down. When they say you will need to learn to walk again they are not joking. Friday I could not take any steps and monday I was able to take a few out of my room and today I could walk around the floor a few times.
The scar is pretty knarley looking on both sides. I guess im going to have to get rid of my thongs now :(

Timur, Desparatecomfort, Jim the jib, Alexdepew, Steve, Jim, MsMahattan, thanks for being a kick ass crew and taking a shoot that had potential for disaster and making it run smooth as hell from what I have heard. Everyone is happy and said you guys were ultra pro and hope this will lead to many more of these types of shoots. I got an offer for a feature with a small but decent budget and you guys are on my A-list if this goes through.
Thanks everyone for the best wishes, it was very scarey for me and MsManhattan would read some of the posts to cheer me up over the phone.

I just hope these 2 hips keeps me moving enough to create some great art.

Nah, glad you're on the mend, Aram. I told Leslie I am basically right around the corner from you and work from home, so if you need me to grab you anything during the day (like beer? :) ), gimme a shout.

2-Hip Shakur, i dont like the "shakur" part of the name. I heard tu-pac aint doin too well nowadays. What is the opposite of tu-pac?
