Spec-Comm says they will offer different cable lengths, so you won't be required to place the Cineporter immediately under the camera.boyadjy said:Hi everyone
i've recently checked spec comm website and i did not find anything regarding mini 35 compatibility ?
As i will use a mini35 with rod support, how can i manage to mount the cineporter because it is mounted just under the HVX ??
anyone has an idea ?
projectsplat said:Out of interest, does anyone know if the CinePorter will ship with a power supply to go with its 12v DC 4-pin XLR input?
projectsplat said:Also, will there be an Australian distributor for the CinePorter once it is released?
i am wondering about the terms of the warranty, and having to ship the unit back to the US should something go awry.
I guess you can think that despite the cineporter being able to update its firmware (like fs100 did) and can be sent back for upgrading hardware .... I guess to make a long email short, I completely disagree. Without 10% I would still be jumping at this.Dermfellow said:Hey, for 10% extra, it's like getting 100 people to use it, finding the glitches, fixing 'em, and a year from now it will be cheaper and slicker than ever. I can deal with that. There are a few advantages to waiting.
