Going to San Diego, what to do?!?!?

My work is flying me out to San Diego on Sunday and Monday. I'll be working Monday, but I have all Sunday free, and my boss said I can do something on the company credit card, so I thought I would get some ideas from the San Diegans, San Diegites here...

I know about the zoo, gas lamp district and Tijuana, anything else cool or noteworthy worth visiting, possibly film/video/design related?
 
Comicon is going on this week.

But I doubt you'd be able to get in this late in the game.

The only happenin thing on sunday is pretty much the Hot Fuzz panel, so yeah, I don't know how exciting it'll be. The exhibit hall is always fun to check out as well. If you get wayyy bored, you might wanna try stoppin by. it closes at 4 though

I just moved to San Diego and havn't really started spending money yet so I don't know any places you can take your credit card.

Lots of beautiful scenery here though. Cabrillo monument on Point Loma has one of the most spectacular views of a city I have ever scene. Torrey Pines state park and Sunset Cliffs also has some amazing ocean cliff views. Tons of stuff to see walking along the Embarcadero (waterfront) as well, Star of India (worlds oldest metal ship), Galleons, submarines...then there is the Midway aircraft carrier which is a museum...it has tons of Navy jets parked on its deck. Add Seaworld and Balboa Park to you list of the standard SD tourist places.

Thats all I can think of right now!
 
Gas lamp districk is always fun. Pleanty of stuff to see and spend money on. There is some really good cigar shops and if you are looking for a fun time out eating check out Dicks Last Resort grate place their whole things is that the waiters are ass holes but it is allot of fun if you just play along.
 
grab a sdreader paper from your hotel when you get in. if you can make it through all the plastic surgery ads you may find someting to do in the listings sections.
