Im badly in need of a score for my short film for the camp kids, but im totally lost as to if there are any sites that exist that have this.

the only one i know of is sounddogs.com

but honestly, their compression and clips suck ass.

anyonw know of anything good or interesting? Really need some help.

-Thanks

I've been able to license some songs from Magnatune (www.magnatune.com) for some of my videos. They have a simple online process for licensing and Teresa will help you out if you need special help. It sounds like you might be looking for loops to make into a score, so perhaps my suggestion isnt what you were looking for, but figured I would try.

Ive used a track from Magnatune before... process is very simple and easy.

THe sounds on sound dogs are not free. The compression "sucks" because it's just for you to get an idea of what the sound is. The files are very good. Now you might not like the content but criticizing the compression is well...

If this is a totally not commercial and isn't going anywhere (you said camp kids) then you probably could get away with commercial music, though that would not be legal. You can also go to the site mentioned by scooby. I believe that for what you want it will be free, and legal.
