HELP!!! Converting a clip to a animated gif?

I have a client that wants me to convert a few short video clips to animated gif files.
Does anyone know what is the best way to accomplish this?? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure if FCP forum is the right place for this question but I use final cut pro to do my editing so I thought this would be a great place to start!!!!!!

Ugh!

The only thought I'd have is to export it as an image sequence... you can do that from Export - QT Conversion.

From there, bring into... what... GoLive? no... one of those CS programs. There you can set the image sequence to save thru as an animated gif.
