Say a prayer for our own Danny Natovich

I just contacted Danny Natovich from DVtec, and asked him as to the status of the Multi rig, and received this reply from him.

"The present situation we have here is causing some serious interruption inour work plans and customer service, I will get back to you as soon as weare back to normal."

I flet like a total idiot as I totally forgot that he was based in Israel, where all of this madness is going on. :kali:

:engel017: I would like to personally send out a prayer for Danny and all who might be in harms way, and for a quick and speedy resolution to the current situation.

PS. BTW, he contacted me on my reply to my email and informed me that he is currently alright.

God speed to you all...

Whoever he is best of health and safekeeping to him and his family in Israel. At the same note, best of health and safekeeping to all our lebanese on dvxuser and in lebanon. My prayers are with civilians on both sides.

Word to all that. This whole middle-east killing thing is getting old. I wish there were easier ways to resolve problems.

I don't think there's anything political about wishing for peace in general terms. It's when you start assigning blame that the problems arise.

Agreed, which is why I said that "I would like to personally send out a prayer for Danny and all who might be in harms way, and for a quick and speedy resolution to the current situation."

I dont personally know Danny, in fact I'm so new here I dont really know anyone yet, but Vegas sounded genuinely concerned for another human being. As should we all. Vegas asked for a prayer, Amerikan123 gave it regardless of religious difference. I don't know Danny, but it's the indifference that comes with not knowing someone and the natural disposition of the human to separate themselves from caring based on nothing more than religious preference that causes these conflicts in the first place...
So with that said I am more than happy to give Danny my prayer.

I to hope for the safety of all civilians and people of Israel even to soldiers that are really just 18+ that are required to serve and of course the same for the innocent civilians in Lebanon. Do you know where Danny is located in Israel? Some places are of course much more dangerous than others currently. I am about to leave for Jerusalem for my sisters wedding myself. Now of course I won't be able to travel to the north and will have to stay in the Jerusalem and Tel Aviv area (of course this to can quickly change being as though Israel is so small.)

Background on Danny...for those who don't know.

For those who don't know who Danny Natovich is, he is a developer of support devices for the most current line of small to medium sized HD/SD cameras. Who happens to be based in Israel.
His most used support device on this forum is the DVRig Pro, which I am a proud user. His latest device is called the DV Multi Rig (The name came from this forum in a contest a few months back), and looks very promising.

He is a kind person, who seems to go out of his way to help those here and elsewhere with their device needs.

His site is here, in case you have never visited it:

Oh and BTW, I don't know exactly where he is based in Israel, but he did mention in a post before (am member was going to be in the area, and maybe visiting him) that he was 20 Km to the north near Kfar-Saba.

we should pray that the conflict doesn't widen. my thoughts are with the innocent people caught in the middle of all of this mess.
