Use Of Still Photos - Release Form

[GraBird]

Does anyone have a good release form for Use of Still Photos from a photographer?

I'm using some still photos as part of a montage sequence. There are some faces in the pictures that he says he already has unlimited use release forms for. (He's a semi-pro photographer who does a lot of magazine work too. All these photos were not used commercially though, just his shots around town or of models he works with.)

I need to get a good Release Form that lets me use his photos in my film, and says something confirming that he also has full rights and license and release for all persons depicted in his photos.

I've also got some photos from a second photographer where there are no people, but I need him to sign a release for use of his photos too.

Does anyone have a decent template that I can use for this purpose?

You require what is referred to as a "material release form".

A template shouldn't be used for this, since each individual case requires special considerations- there's no "one size fits all". Hiring an entertainment attorney to do this might prove less expensive in the long run.

Thanks!
