Tomorrow may be my last day to live...

Beat Takeshi

Two-Hip Shakur
if I dont survive this double hip replacement surgery I go in for in the morning. I havnt slept in the last few days thinking about what if something goes wrong.
Im sure tonight will be the same. Anyways, for some reason I developed arthritus in my hips and its at the point where I cant even stand still without pain let alone walking around. I am getting a new type of hip that was just approved by the FDA just a month ago and its supposed to last a lifetime.
Heres some info on the new procedure for those who care.

Wish me luck! :crybaby:

Hey Aram, I hope all goes well with your sugery and wish you a full and speedy recovery with 150% success. Looking forward to seeing you on the flip side of all this....Good luck!:)

Do things usually go wrong with this? Like life-threatening things? I thought this was pretty standard stuff now. But just in case you don't make it, can I have your 35mm adaptor?

Anytime you go under is reason for concern, and I'm sure that's what Aram is talking about.

You are in my prayers, and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Yours,

e

Aram,

I have had two surgeries in my life and I remember well the presurgery anxiety.

Try to think calm peaceful thoughts and I'm sure you will be fine.

Double hip replacement?!

Damn, you're gonna be two hip for us now.

Good luck, Aram!

LOL! thats freaking funny.

Thanks guys, yeah its the not waking up thing thats eating me up. Well... that and an infection and losing both legs. I have been putting this off for a while because of fear of infection but the pain is just unbearable. After a shoot I have to soak for a few hours and eat aleve. I cant even think about trying any stedicam, that looks like it would kill my hips. If i survive this the first thing I want to do when I can is take my kids surfing. I cant stradle a board so I have to settle for boogieboarding.
After that I want to go horseback riding and then try that Karmasutra position I have been wanting to try but cant.

my dad has gotten a knee replacement... actually he's undergone over 10 surgeries on his leg. and he's okay :)

(and this was along time ago, he was 21 when he had his last surgery...)

Aram, how old are you? Seems to me that you are too young to have hip replacement surgery...Is this a genetic problem in your family or did you play sports when you were younger?

I hope all goes well (I'm sure it will). Just be cool and think about your kids before the surgery.
