bwaahahaha! ... love the photoshop PK, no suspense intended ... I've been gone all day .. ODD Squad made it to the big screen today (or a small big screen) and was shown in an honest to God movie theatre for strangers tonight in a small film festival -- so I've been gone doing that all day and just saw this ...
Ok...
First of all disclaimer ... while my scene is one on one with DMan (our dialogue is to each other at least) my part is only 4 lines long ... I think most of you know that, but would hate for anyone to think that I had some big part or something ...
Having said that I am in the trailer ... sort of ... first the inside scoop on some of the shots and then I will point me(or part of me) out.
... these shots are from the day I was on set and described the awesome steady cam work where the operator had to step blindly over an open pit and it was flawless!

and this is a shot from the steadicam camera
this is the plank the steady cam operator had to walk backwards down to the end and then once Denzel opened a trap door, he had to step over it blind feeling his way with his foot and the shot was all smooth as glass.
So that's exterior same locale as my scene.
Here's a grab of the crime scene I am investigating.
My character's not there when that happens ... just doing the forensics after the fact ... but that's the ambulance that's stuck in the wall that I am examining here:
Denzel finds this clue just after speaking to me
which means I've turned around and begun to re-examine the van ... and so yes that's my ass in this shot (that's the back of the blue and yellow ATF jacket and white jumper rolled down around my waist as per the costume shot above)
so yes ladies and gentleman ... while it remains to be seem whether or not I have made the final cut in the actual movie, my ass at least has made the trailer :thumbsup: :laugh:

Nice work Jack! At the very least you know you make a cameo! And when the movie comes out on DVD I'm sure PK will create a "Where's Jack Daniel Stanley?" special edition.

Jack, that is SO COOL!!! Your butt is in the same scene with Denzel. And notice how he's looking away from you. This still supports my theory about the tainted love affair between your two characters.

Pk that rocks, The first one looks way to real. I was about to watch the trailer again to see if I missed it. Good to see that you made the tariler. I really think if your ass wasn't there DW would not look so intense in that shot. Good Work Jack can't wait to see the movie

If JDS doesn't make final cut, I think you've got all the pieces here for a good spin-off storyline, maybe a future DVXUser project or something... My GF just showed my my butt on pg 80 of the New Entertainment weekly ... the one with Daniel Craig on the cover as the new James Bond.
It's the wide shot from this closeup in the magazine:
I'm still almost 100% sure I'm gonna get cut out of this thing.
I read the whole script for my 2 lines which got cut to 1 line before shooting which became about 4 lines during Denzel's improv antics ... and I couldn't find a reason for my character to be in the screenplay at all.
I basically interrupt Denzel on the phone and he goes back to his phone conversation ... only reason I can think I'm there is to heighten the fact that he's working on the case outside the system so it's secretive and he bugs out a little when I interrupt him to ask him a question and/or to heighten how oblivious he is to certain aspects of his surroundings as he gets deeper and deeper into the case ...
Butt (pun intended) despite the fact that my butt has made the trailer and now a publicity photo I could easily be cut out because he's on the phone, so they could just cut to the other half of the conversation and then back to Denzel after I interrupted him just before he turns around to find the clue he's holding up ... so given that I couldn't justify my character's existence in any plot essential way, and the fact that it would be easy to cut me, I'm trying not to get my hopes up on being in the thing

Like AlexDePew said, imagine a special edition DVD, with Catch the JDS, where if you hit enter when he appears, you get a code to a printable "I know that one guy in that one movie" name tag, which you can wear, to tell people you know that one from that one movie.
Anyway, the movie looks good. I dont like the way they bastardize the pronunciation of Daja vu. "Day-juh voo". In french, we say it "dejuh vuu"
