Charlotte's Web

I remember watching the cartoon movie decades ago.

But for the life of me i can't remember the moral of the story...was it something about pride and vanity?

Let's see, another ham-fisted adaptation of a beloved EB White book which will probably have very little to do with the actual book...."Home Alone" with animals which means the usual hilarity of fart jokes and off-kilter humour.....oh,let's be like "Babe" and film this in Australia-guaranteed box office!!! WTF is wrong with American Farms????????....Danny Elfmans sure to be recycled again "kiddie score" *yawn*.......Julia Roberts as Charlotte?
Bad, BAD choice....Roberts couldn't sound any more clinical and disinterested if she was reading from an obstetrics catalog....... Michelle Pfeiffer would have been awesome and totally suited...as would have Bruce Willis as Templeton the rat...

In other words folks,a totally missed opportunity....

this doesnt seem that bad.

baby pigs are cute...not sure about the back flipping cg baby pig though...

Ill see this only because my 6 and 4 yr old kids flipped over it during previews at Cars. And I'll love it because my kids will love it.

to get an oscar nom it sure was lol. but i think people didnt go see it. I loved that movie though, who knew the guy who mad the mad max series could go and make babe.

How could they?!

Oh wait, $$.

Charlotte's Web is a story (from what I remember of it) that deals with the fact that we are mortals. Death is real. Charlotte's Web is not a funny story, and definitely is NOT a story full of fart jokes!!

Even though I like the idea that Julia Robert's is the voice of Charlotte, and I am sure this picture will make money, this is the worst idea for a remake that I have seen in quite a while.

Just saw it.

You're all idiots^H^H^H^H^H^H mistaken.

Never saw any of the previous versions. Loved this one.

But never mind that... I am a person who HATES CGI.

They did it right in this. Using it only for things they couldn't do with live action or animatronics. Excellent excellent excellent.

Made the preview for Shrek The Third look like a kindergartner's effort in animation.

So there.
