How do you combine HD and SD footage?

I am putting together a reel from 8 shorts (6 shot in SD on the DVX and 2 shot in HD on the HVX).

I am trying to combine all of the clips into 1 SD sequence.

What is the proper/best way to get my HD (720P) footage into a SD sequence?

You can alway just drop it in and scale it, but it requires rendering every time you change anything. Or you can use Compressor's Advanced Format Conversion to make SD footage from your HD footage

I would use compressor to down rez your HD to SD just beacuse you have more SD. If you had more HD then I would up rez your SD. And then just edit away.
