Cables, BNC adapters etc - UK online store?

Our US friends have some incredibly good online shops for all sorts of electronic gizmos and gadgets, B+H is something I wish we had over here for example. I have ordered a few items from Canford in the past but I find their site organization unintuitive and finding the product you need a real chore.

Can anyone recommend some good online stores in the UK for all things video, audio, camera related. Specifically I am looking for BNC right angle to RCA (Phono) adapters and a shorter Component HD break out cable for the HVX200, but would love to add some useful bookmarks to the old browser.

I'd be interested in this also.... spent a goodly part of yesterday trying to find an XLR cable short enough to attach a Rode NTG-2 on camera Mic to the in-built XLR socket. The shortest I could find was 1 metre lengths :(

yeah what's up with that? I am trying to find a xlr cable that is about 1 foot long or so, with no luck :crybaby:
 
Ok, ok, you guys couldn't have it much easier with tons of top quality US online stores for this sort of stuff - throw us a bone in the UK :-)

Well BH do ship to the UK (I'm sure they had a stand at Videoforum in London earlier in the year, to make that very point.)

But in these situations, always reach for the trusty Studiospares catalogue...I managed to find one here which might do the trick.

No recommendations from experience, but I saw a few places when googling around for bnc/rca adaptors and right-angle adaptors. (No single right-angle bnc->rca though.)

I will ask around at the studio where I sometimes work and will post back with any recommendations. I wasn't able to find anything in the way of D4 to component cables...were you able to find anything yourself?

I asked at the studio and the only recommendations were Canford (they advised you get a paper catalogue rather than visit their website.)

I found a couple of sources from googling around, e.g. m-99.co.uk but otherwise, my searches were in vain.

Thanks guys, I just ordered some of the right angle BNC's from M99. Anyone know where you can get the HVX200 component cables from - I need a much shorter version.
