Hey. Im doing a 48 hr film challenge and Im having trouble printing to tape. Never had prob before. I get audio drop outs whenever I print to the tape. I'm using a different tape than my pan master quality tapes cause I HAVE to use that tape. Is that a problem? Would that cause the audio drop outs?

See if you can clean the heads..Some tapes that are wet configuration (IE SONY) tend to leave a film on the heads.

If you are a FCPro user, do render your 'Mixdown audio' before a printout.
(Under sequence--->Render Only--->Mixdown)
It does help preventing audio dropouts especially when you are dealing with more than 6 tracks of audio...

Yuppers...definatley mixdown before going to tape or else havoc will ensue. When you export out to a quicktime movie it does this for you automatically but tape out will get screwy. Good call Volcano!
