Most disturbing movies you've seen?

Hands down, the "Faces of Death" series. Seeing folks bite the big one is still something you don't see on even the most disturbing reality series. Not to mention the scene where they beat the monkey's head to get to the brains.

Yes, disturbing even though several scenes are re-creations. The monkey was done with gelatin and cauliflower (you can tell).

A friend from Singapore withnessed the real monkey scene in an open market restaurant in southern Asia. He tried to snap a picture and the people got really pissed, as you can imagine. He's not into eating monkey, but he did say that dog was a delicacy.

As a child, I would have to say that the African tribal doll installment of Trilogy of Terror scared the bejeezus outta me and made me a firm believer in the monster under the bed.

Also, Vincent Price in Theatre of Blood. (take your pick outta that one)

And for a more modern selection of disturbing, I would have to say Punch Drunk Love. The entire pscyhe of those two people made me feel like I was wearing scratchy wool on a really bad sunburn.

Unbelievable. Me too. Exactly the same thing. I still won't watch it.

Any movies in which the reality of the movie turns out to be NOT reality really messes with my head. Just thinking about them gets me unnerved.

Jesus Super Trooper! Play fair and pick one! You leavin' me with nothin' here.
Aw man...The Shining has stuck with me since like fifth grade.
Until Stephen King made his for TV, and then I Laughed...
(all the same the book scared me to death too, and it's one of the only books I've ever read to truly genuinely do so)

OH! and it's no movie, but the episode of MacGyver where the archnemesis Murdock fakes his own death! He falls off some desert cliff or something? I have nightmares to this DAY. Scariest damn face I ever seen fellas.

Since watching it a couple of days ago...

Munich. Definitely another masterpiece by Spielberg. Very powerful, moving and brilliantly delivering the message. But at the same time one of the most disturbing movies I've seen.

From the opening scene to the phone bomb to hotel with the newlyweds to Netherlands killing... Some of the scariest stuff I've ever seen. Unfortunately, in this world showing just how ugly violence may be and where it may lead won't change a thing...

You forgot to mention Straw Dogs.

My childhood´s disturbing films: Vertigo, Hellraiser, It´s Alive (take a look at the brazilian poster: http://www.cineminha.com.br/cinema_detail.asp?ID=70222), The Stuff, The Omen (when I had to go to the bathroom at night, always thought that son of a b*** was behind me) and a TV film about two kids that become orphans when their parents die in a plane accident -- can´t remember its name now.

Quite disturbing too: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090601/

yes the faces of death videos were full of a bunch of bogus crap. if you get the boxed set there is an extra dvd that shows which ones are fake. I always thought the guy getting his head ripped off by the bear was a total put on. I taped a pretty shocking reality video called 'the worlds grossest video'. nothing Im proud of but the star did get interviewed by howard stern.

I like that Henry keeps coming up. I love the scene with the tv. that dude they kill is SUCH a smart ass. Somebody needs to make a good serial killer movie about Leonard Lake and Charles Ng.

As a kid i was really disturbed by swamp thing. i think it was because of the part where he puts the green glop on Adrienne Barbeau's boob.

Great Movies that I will never watch again;
Kids - "Don't worry, it's me Casper"
Gummo - um...most of it
Last Exit to Brooklyn - The last Tra-la-la scene
Requiem for a Dream - Too much sorrow for my country ass.

Longest Runner; The Shining. It freaks me out, but I have watched it several times.

American History X, and Crash. They were extremely Disturbing in a good way.

David Cronenberg's Crash? Or the Oscar-Winner?

If you're talking about Cronenberg's, then yes I agree.
