Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where I can get a wide angle lens for my HVX camera?

Or what brand would be best?

Thanks...

Century Optics has a .6 and a fisheye I believe... Pricey but probably the best. Cavision has one as well and a lot cheaper but can't say on the quality...

I just received a Century .7X zoom through today. It adds a little weight to the camera but is very good glass and makes a discernable difference in the field of view. I've bought many lenses from Century and they hold up great and look great. Personally I think they are the best quality available currently. If you don't want zoom through capability the .6X is nice and the fisheye rocks. I hope to pick one up eventually.

Thanks you guys! I found the Century .75x zoom thru converter f/HVX200. It is definitely pricey, but I hope it's worth it. :)

Thanks again!

I have the .6x wide angle adapter and it is great wide open but doesn't allow zoom through, I recommend the .75x adapter as a better investment as you can just leave in on the camera to maximize your field of view.

Anyone here have first-hand experience with the RedEye? Looks interesting.

Also, aside from the above, anyone aware of/have recommendations on HVX-friendly 82mm wide-angles at or below .5?
