Good luck with the move - I just got back from the southeast, so I hope you don't die from the humidity like I did. Maybe this San Diego weather has turned me into a pansy when it comes to heat.
 
Hey John I have something great for you to look forward to... I put up posters all over town for a "hippies join hands" type of a deal... we're going to have a line of hippies holding hands across 70 when you come through STL and you can break through the line like Bruce Jenner in the form of a moving truck...

I'll be sure to keep the smallest people near the middle of the tape so it doesn't jostle the load.
 
just make sure you remove the govener from the engine of your rental truck, so you can at least do the speed limit.

TC damn you; make it up with Horrorfest

Up till last night at 1:00 PM with beer and lifting HEAVEY FURNITURE (Real stuff; not college grade)

and then up again at 5:30 a.m. and been up ever since; tired ....

I also am not a fan of moving, but the road trip actually sounds like fun. I've been giving a lot of thought lately to taking a one or two month road trip across the U.S. - though it would be more fun, knowing I don't have to unload a house at the end of the trip.

It'll be worth it once the move's done...Good luck and we'll miss you here on this side of the world :)
 
Just burn everything to the ground (except for a few keepsakes) and save yourself a big headache while cashing in at the insurance agency.:violent5:

Totally fighting it until the last minute! I'd say I'll be off the Grid Tuesday late or Wednesday ...

and then it's a 2800 mile drive; damn Texas. Damn it too hell ! (just thought I'd get that out of the way)
