HOW do I use my powerbook as a monitor?

I've been shooting a lot out of cars and the like and have been using my powerbook as a monitor running FCP or even imovie to see the image.

Is there a better way that I am missing? Is there something I can down load that'll let me use my laptop as a monitor?

This may have been discussed before but I wasn't able to come across it.

Thanks guys,

open quicktime and go File>New Movie Recording. Size to your needs. hope this helps

Ben.

Color,

Thanks, This looks promising but I can't seem to re-size the viewer, and there is a delay....

ideas?

There's a little program I used to use called BTVPro. I guess it's kind of like DVrack (I've never used the latter, so I'm not sure) but it allowed you to view the camera through the monitor and record in Quicktime format to the hard drive. I was always weary to record to my PowerBook's wimply little 4200 rpm drive, but when I was just playing around with footage, it recorded very nicely.

So anyway, very long story short, that's another option to look into.
