Can I erase selected volumes on P2 Store on a Mac?

I have loaded 6 4GB cards to my P2 Store. I want to erase 3 of them and leave the other 3 on the P2. I am working on a Mac Powerbook. Is there a way to do this?

I don't think there is but hoping I'm wrong. My understanding is that the P2 Store is an all or nothing machine and that there is no Mac software to access the P2 Store to erase selected volumes.

Can the selective erasing be done on a PC?

Thanks.

(FYI, my P2 workflow is as follows. I use 2 4GB cards. I load them to the P2 store. I also archive each 4GB card to 2 DVDs of different brands.

And the good thing is that I am be careful in what I shoot. I'm in a 400 foot 16mm load mode, not endless tape mode. I'm trying to look on the good side of this.)

I am intereseted in the answer as well since I was under the impression that you can delete cards dumped on the P2 store without having to use a labtop??

Maybe Barry Green knows the answer ??

HDLog allows you to DELETE selected clips on any mounted P2 Volume that's not "read only". For example, connect to the camera via FireWire to read a card in it and they're not editable.

I may be wrong, but pretty sure the P2 Store isn't a "read only" device, so yes, you should be able to Import a P2 volume, delete selected clips. If you make any text changes those can be saved back to the P2 Store as well.
