After much searching I can finally buy a dvx100b. I made a thread before on how I could find one and came out with very little luck. Yesterday, I literally drove to a different city to either find or order this camera and that didn't work out at all. I thought I was pretty screwed and then I finally called Evs and they told me they would ship it to me through USPS (I live in Canada). If you didn't know, UPS has massive fees when it's outside of the U.S. I would have ended up paying around $600 in certain fees from just using UPS (I hate them with a passion). Anyways, I just need to transfer some cash to my Paypal and i'm going to order it. This website actually inspired me to buy this camera instead of a Canon XL. I'm excited.

Getting mine next week, i'm very excited as well! Sorry to hear about your troubles, it should be worth it when you get it in your hands :)

DVX blows the XL1 out the water insofar as resolution and gamma. Not to mention compact size and ease of use, and reliable FOCUSING :) Nothing beats the 24p motion, and the manual zoom too. Good choice! Best of luck to you.
