This is from an email I recieved today from the PTA.
Most of you probably are not in NYC but any donations would help no matter
how small.

Hello Families,

A Children's School family just lost their home and possessions to a
terrible fire. The family is in great need of all kinds of things: clothing,
furniture, blankets, toys, towels, dishes...all the many things large and
small that make up a home. They are asking for donations to help them
through this time of transition.

If you have anything you would like to donate, please pack it up and either:
Bring to Children's School Parent Coordinator's area (if it is a manageable
size) marked as to what it is and as "Family Donation", or call me to
arrange pick up or drop off if it is a large item. Furniture items will
likely need to be brought directly to where the family is staying now.

Children's sizes are as follows:
2 year old girl size 3 shoes size 11
4 year old girl size 5 shoes size 9
6 year old girl size 12-14 shoes size 4
8 year old girl size 10 shoes size 31/2
9 year old boy size 12 shoes size 7
12 year old boy size 16 shoes size 8

Mom Size Large: 12-14.
Dad size is unknown.

Unfortunately, they are not able to pick up items, and so we will be
transporting items from Children's School, excluding larger items and
furniture. If you are at all able and willing to bring the larger items (or
have a friend who can) please do so.

Email me and I will provide the address.
The family will be home this coming Friday evening (June 9) and all day
Saturday to take deliveries. We will be making a run from Children's School
on Monday June 12 to bring any smaller items dropped off here. We want to
help but not overwhelm them, so we are trying to make it as organized as
possible.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and think about what you may have.

Best,
Darlene Vanasco

Good luck with the help, Aram. I can relate as I have some friends who lost their homes and possessions in the recent Oklahoma wildfires.
