Whare the hell is the Fountain?

The Fountain looks awesome, it was supposed to be released in february. Well whare is it? Anybody know?:furious3: This is what I wan't to do to the studio executives:nads:
 
Requiem For A Dream was flat out amazing, a masterpiece, why the holdup on this one? Somebody here has got to know.
 
We'll see if that date pans out, I hope it comes out much sooner, movies of this potential caliber don't get released everyday, What do you guys think? Are the studios that afraid to release brilliant movies? Are they afraid that it will make them look good?

The studio probably knows what they got and are waiting until closer to oscar season where it has a chance of secure some nominations. Thats what studios do with films they think are brilliant.

I'm not sure of your last question, "are they afraid it will make them look good?"

Are you kidding? We're not talking about Troma here.
 
Actually i believe most of the delay is from Arronofsky.

He's been taking his time retooling this film, reediting it again and again, there's also a good bit of special effects work that has to be perfect or it'll take people out of the time period.

The studio is giving him what he needs to make a masterpiece and that is time, money, and minimal interference.
 
Sorry about the sarcasm... Thanks for the info. that must be it, I guess i'm just impatient. But man that movie looks good, I was afraid for some reason that they wouln't release it.
