Hallo guys and Good morning.
I just went trough the all night to found out what to do if I'm using the old good Final Cut Pro 5 with a DVX100B Pal version who's shooting in progressive.
Now, the question is: do I need to change something on capture settings, stuff like that? There is no problem about the progressive? Because I'm going to put in my computer fifteen hours of material, so I would like to start with, let's say, the right feet.
The camera is in prog. so, should the software know this as well, and if yes, in what kind of way? Because is not mentioned somewhere about 25p.
Something else make me mad: If you click Sequence>Settings... you'll find the tab, the first page of this tab is called "General" there is a section such "Quicktime General Settings", if you click "Advanced" you'll find another section with the option: Interlaced or Progressive. Well, is this connect than with the output material?
Thanks guys, thanks all for help.
